Amazingly, in more than 15 years of business travel to Brussels, for most of that time very much more frequently than now, I think this is the first time I have ever been in here. Quiet in mid-afternoon for a quick beer and de-brief after successful meetings.

Well-known Irish pub in the heart of the European Institutions district of Brussels and right outside the Berlayment Building. Rumour has it that as many of the biggest EU decisions over the years have been decided in here as in the Parliament or Council buildings nearby. A large saloon bar, decorated in "Irish" style.
