Sunday afternoon and doing a good trade with a mix of clientele. Beer battered cod and chips was selling very well this afternoon, I listened to some Americans who were amazed about the generous size of the food portions.

A Saturday afternoon visit, I had not eaten so I took advantage of the food offer as the nearby chippy was closed. The cod and chips in the pub was excellent. Fullers have spent a lot of money doing this place up to a very high standard but I could have done without the picture of two male police officers kissing.

Evening. Very quiet. 3 Fuller's beers on the pumps but not a Fuller's house. My second £4 pint of the evening.

The pub is found in Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 3PA.
The nearest pub to Brighton railway station except, of course, when or if there is a bar or pub on the station concourse itself. Large corner pub with very modern decor. Used to accommodate the Nightingale Theatre upstairs but that is now a function / conference room. Refurbished expensively by Fuller's after acquiring it. 4 handpumps.
We have visited this pub 8 times, seen 11 different beers and tried 5 of them.
