12:00 I came here as the pub is on the CAMRA Heritage website and I am aiming to visit as many of those listed on that site as I can. The Oak Room is certainly worth the trip. Only one other customer when I arrived but soon got busy. Ordering lunch took some time as a large group of ladies who all ordered and paid for their soft drinks separately.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Batemans - Winter Wellie4.70GoodDark beer. Started off well but by the end of the pint it tasted very similar to the XB. I suspect not a huge variation in recipes.
Batemans - XB3.70AcceptableI used to like Batemans beers but they now seem to have the same twang as Greene King.
Batemans - XXXB (now superseded by 4.8% version)4.50Not Tried

The pub is found in Skegness, Lincolnshire, PE25 3DB.

Historic hotel dating from 1770, situated about a mile to the south of the railway station. To the left of the main hotel building are two bars, the Tennyson Bar, dedicated to the poet who had an association with the area and the Oak Room, which is a splendid 1930s renovation, fully panelled and with a real fire.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
