11:50 Second stop, first ones in. All tables laid up so one was cleared for us. Food is the main trade here. This was one of our favourite pubs in days gone by, the first place I saw a video Jukebox, and on my last visit for a leaving do a stripping policewoman featured. Different times.

The pub is found in Pentonville, Central London, N1 9RY.
Formerly the General Picton in Wharfdale Road, a two-bar classic London boozer, it has now had the full gastro treatment and is very trendy. One large room, a natural wooden counter and a roof terrace. Closed in 2021 but subsequently re-opened with new name and as a re-creation of a legendary local nightclub in September 2022. No real ale.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
