Evening. My crawl was beginning to flag up the need for a good beer range in good condition. Nuneaton needs this Wetherspoon house.

The pub is found in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, CV11 5BS.

On Stratford Street a welcome real ale oasis in a pedestrianised pretty soul-less town centre. It takes its name from a fictional character created by George Eliot, in her novel of the same name, published in 1866. Nuneaton was the author's home town. 8 handpumps in banks of 5 and 3.

We have visited this pub once, seen 8 different beers and tried 2 of them.
