McMullen (sometimes latterly brand badged as Rivertown or Whole Hop) - 1827 | 4.60 | Billed as a ‘Light Summer IPA’, this proves to be an amber-coloured beer dominated by a tangy crystal malt taste. | |

The pub is found in Roydon, Essex, CM19 5EA.
Originally called the Temple Inn, this large pub is set a little back from Roydon High Street and looks across the road directly at the White Hart. Acquired by McMullen’s Brewery of Hertford in 1919. Patio seating at the front.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
