Very busy at the time of my early evening arrival; but everybody suddenly dashed outside. I followed to see what was going on and witnessed the passing of the local carnival parade – just like the one we used to have in Hastings when I was a lad, only with more bagpipes and fewer drunks.

A large, high street Wetherspoon pub in a 1930s vintage former cinema. Has an Art Deco décor in keeping with the building. Converted to pub use in 2012.
