Set in a small village in the Forest of Dean, close to the Wye Valley this popular pub/restaurant has 8 real ale engines and an extensive food (much of it locally produced) menu. Parking is difficult and a reservation advisable if eating. Gardens front and rear. Friendly, efficient service but it's not cheap! Log fires and stone flags along with a dog friendly landlord make this a welcoming place.
