12:00 Opening time and the door was unlocked for us as we turned up. Pub is badged as an "eel & pie house" sadly the powers that be decided that the cooking facilities could not be used for catering and domestic and so the pool table returned and provision of food ceased. Very friendly couple running the pub.

Single bar pub in Star Street, with seating and a TV at one end, and a pool table at the other. Nice beamed ceiling. Sold by McMullen and considered unlikely to ever re-open.
