Again, we were walking past and saw a Canterbury Ales pump clip. Only 2 people inside but then the barman said it was a music venue so I guess it gets busy in the evening.

I had never been here before (and still have not) but it is in the current edition of the Good Beer Guide so it appeared to be worth a visit. The Guide and What Pub say the pub opens at 12:00 on Saturdays, we arrived at about 14:30 to find the place closed, and someone told us it would be open at 15:30 today. What Pub has since been amended to show the correct opening times. A pub that is still on my To Do list.
