Morning visit - sort of. The beach, including the cliff top walk was fully closed off - so we had to make do with a beer at the sister restaurant/bar above it. Sunny, great view, plenty of trade for this out-of-the-way spot. January just got better.

January sun and sand - crashing waves on the nearby rocks were fun to watch from the bar terrace.

Back here for a winter break.
The bar has been developed - now a car park at the top of the cliff path that has brought many more customers and the revamp mean this is more of a traditional bar/restaurant unfortunately losing much of its original charm.

Lunchtime. Our third visit over the years - the beer is cold and bland but always welcome after the walk. Hot, blue skies. This I can put up with in January.

The pub is found in Playa Bollullo, Tenerife, Spain, 38314.
Beach bar about 5 miles east of Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. Only one keg beer on but worth an entry due to its remoteness. Only accessed by foot along a coastal path - but nearby car park. Steel rope pulley system from the cliff above to deliver the beer. Just a rather large shack with a good view onto the black sand beach below. Small selection of tapas. 2017 renamed from Bar Pollullo and upgraded to a beach bar/restaurant.
