Farmer's Ales (Maldon Brewing) - Puck's Folly | 4.20 | Now badged as produced by Wharf Brewery. Excellent head on this golden ale with sweetish mouthfeel and honey flavours. | |
Harwich Town - Parkeston Porter | 4.50 | Now badged as produced by the Wharf Brewery. Also in cask conditioned bottles on shelving in this micro among other brews by them as well. Good head and hoppy aftertaste. | |

Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Farmer's Ales (Maldon Brewing) - Hotspur | 6.00 | I don't really approve of the beer's name - but it is nevertheless a really good, strong. chestnut-coloured ale of the Winter Warmer type. | |

The pub is found in Maldon, Essex, CM9 5BX.
This was a cross between a bottle shop and a micro-pub, in an ancient building at the bottom end of the High Street. Possibly the smallest pub in Essex. Was the Maldon Brewery taproom with Maldon Brewery bottled beers are sold for take away, and had seating accommodation for 12 and a selection of cask beers to drink on the premises. Now renamed and a micropub and brewery tap for the local Wharf Brewery.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 3 of them.
