With a group of friends here until late. The slightly studious, beer enthusiast, atmosphere in here is dented by the loud rock music permeating the wall from the pub next door.

A pleasant, cask beer specialist pub in the university district of Preston. The entrance is rather discrete, set back from Fylde Road, but it is considerably larger inside than appearances suggest. Attracts a more mature clientele than other venues in the area. Local CAMRA Pub of the Year 2015.
