Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Breakwater - The Mogul | 5.60 | Commemorating arguably the best pub in Dover (RIP) - and this beer lived up to it - complex notes and a great bite - slightly hazy or else it would have got top marks. | |
Coniston - Special Oatmeal Stout | 4.50 | Chocolatey with a hint of smoke. Sponsored by The Lanes. | |
Partners - American Craft Ale | 4.50 | ||
S43 (formerly Sonnet 43) - Aurora IPA | 4.40 | Described rather ostentatiously as "Poetry in a glass" - rather good nonetheless. | |
Green Jack - Trawlerboys | 4.60 | Not to my liking - malty with a rather acrid bitterness. |

The Beer Festival is found in Dover, Kent, CT17 0UY.
200 year old corn mill open to the public. Although not a CAMRA beer festival many of the people who run it seem to be from the local CAMRA branch. Run along the same lines as a CAMRA festival this is an excellent event held in a grounds and mill building.
We have visited this Beer Festival once, seen 5 different beers and tried them all.
