Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
De Kaapse Brouwers - Bea | 6.00 | Described as a Black Rye IPA, and very tasty. | |
Gänstaller - Kaapse Andy | 10.90 | A special beer brewed by Kaapse staff at Gānstaller in Germany to celebrate the Dutch brewery’s anniversary. It is a very strong, pale, IPL that is very heavily hopped. I cannot find an IBU rating for this beer, but it must be huge – one of the bitterest beers I have ever drunk. | |
De Kaapse Brouwers - Maria v2 | 4.70 | Murky gold in colour. A Vermont IPA. Looks and tastes like a Bermondsey railway arch product. |

The pub is found in Rotterdam, Netherlands, 3012 JC.
A large (by Dutch standards), city centre bar and restaurant opened by de Kaapse Brouwers on Mauritsweg in the city centre at the end of 2016. Has plenty of pavement tables at the front and comfortable drinking / dining areas on two floors within. There are 24 taps for draught beers at the back of the bar, plus a range of bottled beers are also sold. Beers come not just from Kaapse themselves – guest beers are also featured.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
