My first visit here, although this pub has been modernised there are still tell tale signs of Tomson and Wotton architecture internally as well as externally, the leaded windows reminded very much of the former Foy Boat in Ramsgate. I sat in the quieter rear bar and drank my pint.

In Newington Road, the last Tomson and Wotton pub to be built in Ramsgate and architecturally similar to the Racing Greyhound at Dumpton. There is a large bar at the front as you enter and a quieter bar at the back. The pub offers darts, sports television and karaoke. Food is served at main meal times.
