An afternoon visit and quiet in here.
Three Hills - In Pursuit | 6.00 | | From key-keg. Version 8 of this beer. Peachy soft with zero bitterness. |
BrewDog (Tower Hill) - Mez | 7.00 | | From keg. Clear gold. Lime and smoke and obvious alcohol strength. |

Lunchtime visit and much more relaxed in here than on previous visits.
BrewDog (Tower Hill) - All Hops on Me | 6.60 | | From a form of keggery. Fresh. Light body for its strength. |

I think I am finally warming to the BrewDog concept. There is no denying that this is a massively impressive pub. And it is thronged tonight.
BrewDog - Very Big Moose | 12.00 | | A massive Imperial Stout with chocolate and vanilla. Boozy and warming and lovely. |
BrewDog - Hop Fiction | 5.20 | | A clean, golden beer with fruity hops. |
BrewDog (Tower Hill) - Lovechild v.1 | 6.20 | | My first, and quite possibly my last, taste of an apple-flavoured beer. |
BrewDog - Coconut & Yuzu IPA | 6.10 | | Starts with some dry coconut flavours, but these are quickly lost in a sticky, fruity mess. |

Hmm. Two days running in a BrewDog bar. That’s not good for the wallet. I must recalibrate my random pub visit generator. Very busy in here.
BrewDog (Tower Hill) - LCBF Brut IPA v.1 | 3.20 | | From fizzy old-style keg. Murky pale gold. Lots of hops and, yes, it’s dry. |
BrewDog (Tower Hill) - Wheat v.1 Green Tea Citrus | 5.70 | | From fizzy old-style keg. More pale golden murk. Both advertised flavours are prominent. Long, bitter finish. |

I’d read a lot about this place without being particularly bothered to visit, until somebody mentioned to me that some beer is brewed on site.
BrewDog - Libertine Black IPA (keg) | 7.00 | | From keg dispense. An increasingly rare example of a Black IPA – and very nice too. (Now called Black Ale and badged as 7.2%). |
BrewDog - Vagabond Pale Ale | 4.50 | | From keg dispense. Amber in colour. Gluten-free. Citrus hop flavours. Seemed sweet in comparison to the beer that went before. |
BrewDog - King of Eights v.2 | 7.40 | | From keg dispense. A golden-coloured NEIPA – just a bit hazy rather than the full murk. Fruity smell. Sticky fruit tastes (possibly guava, although I honestly don’t remember the last time I ate a guava). |
BrewDog (Tower Hill) - Single-hopped Pale Ale v.2 Wakatu | 4.50 | | From keg dispense – this beer brewed on site. Hazy gold and well-hopped. Dry, bitter and resinous. |
BrewDog - Eight Bit | 8.00 | | From keg dispense. A cloudy golden beer. Tastes a bit like alcoholic, undiluted orange squash – but not in a bad way. |
