Late afternoon well timed visit as my earlier phone call revealed a wedding party booked today hence pub closing at 21.00 vice 16.00. Just the main bar open with a couple of groups in however sadly cask ales no longer available so we had to make do with a keg Banks's mild.

Mid afternoon quiet one other group who like myself were here for the novelty value. The effect of feeling inebriated prior to any alcohol is quite prevalent here!

The pub is found in Himley, West Midlands, DY3 4DA.

Once called Glynne Arms, a pub in Coppice Mill that needs to be visited to see the optical illusions in this building caused by mining subsidence: watch the ball roll uphill unaided. Some of the rooms are not always open to the public and dogs allowed only in the bar. Booking for the restaurant is advised. Sold to a private buyer by Marston's and closed. Subsequently virtually destroyed by fire on the night of Saturday 5th August 2023 then demolished days later without authorisation. Now a judicial case with demands to have the place rebuilt as an exact replica.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
