The pub is found in Bethnal Green, Greater London, E2 0EA.
This large pub in Bethnal Green Road was established in around 1766 as the Lord Camden, later becoming the Camden's Head. It was rebuilt in its present form in around 1876 and continued as the Camden's Head, laterly under Charrington's ownership, until 1991. It reopened the following year as the Misty Moon, then a JD Wetherspoon house. The pub was sold by Wetherspoon's in 2006 in one of their periodic disposals of smaller pubs, and by 2018 it had been renamed the Bethnal Green Tavern. In 2020 it changed hands again, re-opening in March much renovated and with four handpumps on the bar. There is an outside yard at the rear.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 6 different beers and tried 3 of them.
