My previous two evening attempts to visit here proved fruitless due to the popularity of the place folk were queueing up to get in! Third time lucky on a mid afternoon and fairly quiet with space available made it all worthwhile thanks to the knowledgeable staff and excellent beer choice available. Many of the pubs I visited during my stay I deemed unworthy of even bothering to make a P&B entry!!
