Visits Details

15 Nov 2025 (Hogan Sampling)
3rd visit of the outing: Ticking over early evening in this comparatively new micropub, about to celebrate its second birthday the weekend after this one. A high table waiting for our party of three and friendly, attentive service. Beware these high tables as they are very lightweight and putting your feet on the footrest can push the table forwards. Thankfully only my half was lost as hung onto the glass before it could slide off. They kindly replenished my half and duly mopped up. Just the one cask on, on this visit.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Bexley - Old Mill Autumn Ale4.50GoodVery good head and lacing and lasting on this Erith-brewed seasonal Old Mill Autumn Bitter made with fresh Kentish hops. A malty bittered first bite. A tropical fruity hoppiness rising with a hint of caramelised orange. A dry maltiness with a touch of chocolate fudge flavouring sliding downwards.

Evening visit, my first here. Run by a very enthusiastic couple and already seems to have settled into the neighbourhood well.
