Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
RedWillow - Rauchbier - Smoked Lager | 5.40 | I do not smoke but love a smokey beer. A smokey hit leapt out at me, followed by a slight fizz on the tongue. I was left with liquorice and malty flavours and a fruity aftertaste. Great head and lacing. | |
Brew York - Kiwi - Brown Ale | 5.00 | Superb head and lacing. A very spicy mouthfeel with a slight smokiness and if not lingering from the one before. | |
Kernel (The Kernel) - India Double Porter | 7.50 | Very good head and lacing. A very smooth, malty mouthfeel. It helped wash a festival burger and fries down. Very moreish aftertaste but one half was enough and marked the finale beer at this very buzzing festival. | |
Moot Brew - Quetzal Green Hop Red Ale | 4.50 | A good head and lacing. A spicy hit on first sipping with a fruity mouthfeel. A pleasingly dry and moreish aftertaste. | |
UnBarred (brewed at Two Tribes then later at Missing Link) - Ekuanot & El Dorado - Hoppy Pale | 4.80 | My first cask sampled at the festival. Good head and lacing. A very citrusy hit on first sampling with a tropical fruity mouthfeel. A sweet and dry aftertaste. |
