Lunchtime just before catching a ferry. Uninspiring keg selection of beers. Reduced to trying the Rocksure Irish Lager - another Diageo offering (owners of Guinness). It was cold and refreshing.

About the Swanky

The pub is found in Tarbert, Ireland.

The Swanky Bar and Lounge is a corner house on the way to the ferry across the Shannon estuary. A striking exterior colour scheme with a deep blue ground level beneath a deep orange upper level and a huge mural on the side proclaiming that “There’s nothing like a Guinness at the Swanky”. Two room layout inside with a concrete patio area at the rear.

We have visited this pub once, seen 0 different beers and tried them all.
