Camra crawl continues. 2 extremely lively beers, loads of wasted beer all cask. Lots of expensive keg, little waste.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - American Brown Ale (collaboration with Track)5.60ExcellentTook 10 minutes to pour. 5£, but it was a fine pint. Lost a lot of money by young barmaid method of pouring

Had a nose in here while on my way to The Elephant and decided to try one of the 2 cask ales on offer today. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere just 3 others in with soft guitar music playing in the background.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Left Handed Giant - Open Trail4.20GoodA dry piney bittersweet fare with hints of orange.

Late evening visit until close. Apart from the barman and me all others drinking keg.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Moot Brew - Underhill4.40GoodEnjoyed this malty dark bitter enough to have a second one. Initial head and lacing did soon dissipate
Rivington - Clouded Eyes4.20Not Tried

First time visit for me. Dark and somewhat cold - there was a big air con unit on the ceiling that seemed to be keeping the temperature down. Nicely laid out place, with large fridges of lambics and the like, if you're into that kind of thing.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Burnt Mill - Citra Sands4.30AcceptableHazy yellow-gold. Lots of citra, not surprisingly.
Track - Dust & Wind5.60Not Tried

Early afternoon. Faversham Hop Festival underway. The tables have been taken out of the main bar for the festival leaving plenty of standing room. Very busy.

Brew York - Fennec Blonde (was 3.7%)3.40Acceptable Now 3.4 and rather thin I thought.

Pub 2 - early afternoon. Very pleasant, a few others in. Soft music. The back bar was empty but looks to be a well decorated additional space.

Lunchtime visit around 1. My first visit since the rebranding. Definitely a keg-led house now with 13 craft beers on the board ranging from £5 to £6.50 a pint. These can be purchased as 1/2 or 2/3 pint as well. Two cask ales, slightly cheaper. The front bar seems larger than I remembered and with only four others in it felt rather lacking in ambience. Other cask was a 5.0% stout from Sometimes Brewery called Moot.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wylam - Fleek4.20ExcellentSuperb pale ale at £4.60.

Looks to be closed and undergoing a renaming and refurbishment. Sign now says “The Creeker’s Tap” - as in Faversham Creek presumably.

The pub is found in Faversham, Kent, ME13 8PE.

A two roomed pub, in the style of a micropub, created from a glazing shop conversion in Preston Street which opened on 1st December 2016. Real ales, ciders and keg beers are sold from the bar counter in the bare boarded front room through a line of wall taps. More comfortably appointed rear room up three steps. Inevitably majors on selling products from the owning Whitstable Brewery. Closed autumn 2020 for refurbishment and re-naming. Reopened August 2021 with a re-launch and initial expectations are of it being expensive and possibly keg beer oriented and initially reported as selling no cask beer now. 2 handpumps were eventually brought into use in late 2022 to rectify this to complement the 17 keg wall taps.

We have visited this pub 25 times, seen 64 different beers and tried 23 of them.
