Highgate - Davenport's Last Minute | 4.50 | Supposedly a lager, but not light enough, sweet enough or malty enough in my opinion. My score 14/20. |
Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |

Oakham - Akenhatan | 4.90 | Good beer pale gold colour well carbonated clean citrus taste real hoppy bitter finish nice pint
Woodforde's - Wherry | 3.80 | Had several excellent pints of this around Cromer in the past they even served it on the steam powered Cromer to Sheringham railway. This was not up to the mark though not clear just uninspired.
Greene King - Ruddles Best (was 3.7%) | 3.40 | Not at it's best a little hazy and the taste had lost its edge

The pub is found in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE1 1LZ.
Long narrow former draper's in Cowgate. Loads of dark wood. Typical Wetherspoon's warehouse. This building was purpose-built for the draper and milliner Charles Armstrong, in 1899. Armstrong traded at this address for almost a century. The new building was partly occupied by Charles Armstrong, who moved his business here from New Road. The shop soon expanded into the rest of the premises, where he was helped by five of his six children until his death in 1926. In more recent years Armstrong's specialised in carpets, curtains and linens, trading at this address until c1996. Re-opened March 2020 after a refurbishment and extension. 12 handpumps.
We have visited this pub 14 times, seen 58 different beers and tried 20 of them.
