Early afternoon and very quiet, however I did bump in to a couple of friends and we talked about this site.
Shepherd Neame - Goldings Ale | 4.10 | | Amber coloured beer with white head, a typical Shepherd Neame taste. |

Thought I pop into my local on the way home bumped into another Network Rail Drink would be rude not to join in pub was fairly busy apart from being not smokey hasn't changed much since my last visit still doesn't do the seasonal beers like it used to do so even though it's on me doorstep I think I will venture a bit further for a regular hostelry
Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale) | 4.20 | | Beer was in good condition |
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried

Easter Monday mid afternoon. Sat on the patio in the sun trying to ignore the bouncy castle and children's play area
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | | Caramel/yeast hop aroma. Fullish in mouth with juicy caramel and then biting hop finish which it has developed over the past year or so, or has done to my taste buds. More Sheps yeast on end, but those hops are just wonderful |
Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale) | 4.20 | Not Tried

Quite busy late on in the afternoon. The bar staff had said that they had been busy all afternoon. Sat on a stool at the bar. 4 handpumps but only serving Master Brew and Spitfire. Had hoped for a seasonal, Late Red or the Porter. Pretty conversion of a barn.
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | | Bit more caramelly and rounded that at the Conningbrook, but it lacked that floral hoppy nose that I like on this beer. |
Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale) | 4.20 | Not Tried

Large attractive barn, won an award I think for its conversion. Sat outside as it was a sunny evening on the decked patio, which is as spacious as the interior of the pub and garden. Children playing put me off my su doku though. Serves 4 handpumps
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | | Nice session beer. Amber brown colour with Sheps yeast and hop aroma with some appley/pear fruit. Some sweet caramel with fruity acids on end and dry finish. |
