Dark and near empty when I entered in mid-afternoon. Once my eyes were accustomed to the gloom, I spotted Steve from Beckenham and we caught up on six months of each other’s news. Dark and near full by the time I left.

First visit to this traditional London boozer. Busy weekday evening, mixed clientele had spilled out the front in the demarkated drinking area. Cracking Brodie's beer.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brodie's - California5.30ExceptionalWow, what a beer! Huge, oily hop character from the 3.5g of Chinook hops crammed into every pint. Well conditioned and super moreish.

Located in Endell Street. Festooned with foliage and flowers on the outside. Inside is a traditional pub interior with low level red tinged lighting giving a cosy pub feel. Lots of bric a brac on the walls and ceiling. Leased by the Brodie family who for a while had a brewery in Leyton, later relocating to South Wales.
