A very busy Friday evening, I attended a friend's retirement do in the cellar bar.

Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Brian Turner Golden Ale4.00Not TriedSecond in the Brian Turner commisioned series of ales. This one is golden as expected and has a good balance of flavours with citrus hop getting the edge. My score 15/20.

Long, thin Nicholson's pub in the usual style. Restaurant attached. This outlet has more beers on than most with typically 6-8 guest beers available from the seasonal list. Closed in June 2014 and subsequently demolished retaining the Bishopsgate and Liverpool Street facades.
