Time for a curry to soak up those beers earlier and my first visit to this rabbit-warren of a Spoons' pub which was bustling. One in our party kindly saved the rest of us a seat whilst we placed our orders and chose our beers.

Typical Wetherspoon make-over of previous pub! North end of High Street. Small front pavement patio seating area. 10 handpumps in 2 banks, each of 5. Large L-shaped seating area - much larger than one imagines upon entering.
