Fairly full in the restaurant when we popped in for our lunch soon after mid-day. Although it was the chef's day off we had a good meal and the service was fine. The bar area filled up whilst we were eating.

A Grade II listed, weather-boarded pub in Sutton Road situated at a crossroads but has parking at the rear. On entering from the car park, there is a bar area with some tables and at the far end the restaurant is to be found. Re-opened in November 2016 with a significant move towards top chef cuisine.

We have visited this pub 11 times, seen 37 different beers and tried 22 of them.
