Evening until close. Given a most Daliesque of an explanation as to the pub's last orders, closing time and drinking up time - unlike any other JDW I have visited, this was maverick stuff.

Evening towards the end of the day. Slow service with only one barman and lots of other non servers doing non customer facing things. Not fair on him really.

The Wetherspoon’s London Ale Festival has arrived at their east London outlets this week and it was good to see plenty of publicity material here – only one of the beers had made it on to the bar though. Busy at 6:30pm on a Monday with every table occupied.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Adnams - Stone Brewing Double IPA8.50AcceptableThis didn’t really do it for me. A bit too sweet and with the alcohol dominating over the hop flavours.

Not too busy around 11am on a Saturday.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Weltons - I Can't Believe It's Not Kölsch5.00AcceptableYellow lager style ale, rather sharp on the hops and lacking sweetness. Dryish, bitter finish. My score 14/20.
