Very busy indeed for a mini beer festival of 'collaboration' brews. Good to see many familiar faces for the first time this year.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Brodie's (latterly contract brewed by Rhymney) - Brodie's Brick6.80ExcellentIn the 'Red IPA' style I think. A brick red, strong tasting, hoppy beer. Oily, hoppy, bitter aftertaste.
Brodie's (latterly contract brewed by Rhymney) - Awesomestow IPA7.00ExcellentA very pale, strongly hopped beer. Tastes like Citra hops to me, although I stand ready to be corrected.
Brodie's (latterly contract brewed by Rhymney) - Columbus for Breakfast6.60ExcellentA full-on, thick, black, roasted Stout, with hops in the aftertaste.
Brodie's (latterly contract brewed by Rhymney) - Summer Saison8.00ExcellentGolden yellow and with a slight haze. Strong and a little sour.
Brodie's (latterly contract brewed by Rhymney) - Stepney Green Steam4.20Good

The pub is found in Soho, Central London, W1F 9SB.

A cramped, little corner pub in Soho which is leased to Brodie's of Leyton (now of south Wales)- selling that brewery's beers. The interior is full of interest with bric-a-brac and breweriana, including some nice Truman's mirrors. There are ten handpumps on the bar counter.

We have visited this pub 11 times, seen 26 different beers and tried 18 of them.
