The pub is found in Liverpool, Merseyside, L2 6PT.
2 room pub in Rainford Gardens. Bar is in front room and normally serves 4 beers. Seems to have been taken over since this contributor (Ian) visited it in March 2004. Beer range a bit more varied and Sky TV seems to have disappeared. Back room is wonderful with red leather bench seating. Pictures around the pub feature the cruise ships that sailed from Liverpool docks, boxers and The Beatles. A welcome real ale respite in the middle of the Cavern Quarter.
We have visited this pub 11 times, seen 21 different beers and tried 13 of them.
