Mid evening visit. Very quiet but immediate welcome and conversation about football news from barman.

Stop off on way to the Railway Station - only 2 minutes from the platforms. Have always found beer to be well looked after here and very reasonable prices for the area. Top up request met with good grace.

Located in Lower Temple Street Birmingham within a short stroll of New Street railway station, Alexandra Theatre and Bullring Shopping Centre. Outside seated area by the pavement. Famous for original Victorian internal features including chandeliers and green and cream wall tiling including up the staircase. Old M&B tiled floor in entrance doorway. Attractive drinking environment in heart of the City. 8 handpumps sported on the bar counter with at least 1 cider being dispensed.
