Busy with two large groups taking over the pub and garden.

Visited with a group of retired colleagues. Welcoming, comfortable and an all round good pub.

The pub is found in Baldock, Hertfordshire, SG7 5AW.
Traditional pub located not far from the railway station. Greene King tied but with a liberal guest ale policy. Two bars, function room, conservatory and pool room. Impressive Simpsons brewery sign in right hand bar. 13 handpumps in banks of 5, 4 and 4 - one of which regularly dispenses local cider. Live music sessions. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2013.
