Traditional pub located not far from the railway station. Greene King tied but with a liberal guest ale policy. Two bars, function room, conservatory and pool room. Impressive Simpsons brewery sign in right hand bar. 13 handpumps in banks of 5, 4 and 4 - one of which regularly dispenses local cider. Live music sessions. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2013.
