13:40 Reasonably busy. Brewing is now happening on site, the brewer was working on the kit whilst we were there. The two barmen very keen on the beers and were very informative. Some beers are still coming from Horsham but I failed to note which are which.

Very busy in here, with many people watching the rugby. Bar staff assured me that the brewery is now operational, although I saw little real evidence of this.

The pub is found in Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 4AA.
In Gloucester Place, once known as The Gloucester, opened as a brew-pub in September 2012, in premises that formerly housed a nightclub. It is a very large bare-boarded premises on several levels, with the brewing equipment prominently visible behind the bar. The beers were initially contract-brewed (mostly at W.J. King & Co. in Horsham, or so it was said), with the in-house brewery coming on-stream in early 2013. 12 handpumps in 3 banks, each of 4 but the 4 round the right hand side side are rarely in use. CAMRA discount for card carrying members.
