Busy early evening but service was quick by knowledgable bar staff.

Beerd (experimental side of Bath) - Sergeant5.00ExcellentA bitter type beer, which I was informed by the barman, was infused with peppercorns. It certainly had a different taste that was difficult to place but by no means unpleasant. I enjoyed it.

The pub is found in Waterloo, Central London, SE1 8TB.

A former Ind Coope "back street boozer" just behind Waterloo East railway station in Roupell Street. Two distinct bars connected around an "island bar". Eight handpumps in two banks of four in separate bars with a cider occasionally on one of them in summer. There is a large rustically furnished rear annex which has been brought into use in the pub's later life. 2 function rooms upstairs.

We have visited this pub 11 times, seen 77 different beers and tried 22 of them.
