Tuesday lunchtime. Terrace in front of the pub was busy but we found a table. Pizzas were excellent.

Mid afternoon and a customer was telling the girl behind the bar that she was doing things wrong by cutting the lemons in to slices instead of segments, but apart from that everything was fine.

Very busy, Old Dairy Gold Top was free from 18:30 to 19:30 but there were still lots of customers spending real money. I had a good chat with Wilf from Old Dairy brewery who were sponsoring free pints tonight.

Oh dear. Only three handpumps with beers and all from Marstons. Why tweet about Old Dairy beers and then not sell them?

My first visit here and I came away with a favourable impression. It was Friday lunchtime and it was fairly busy. Food menu was not too extensive and the quality was good and served fairly quickly. Having read a few tweets from Old Dairy about their beers being available I was disappointed to find the cask beers dominated by the Marston's stable.

Lunchtime on a nice sunny day, not too crowded. A gentleman near me tried to order a Canada Dry but the barman had no idea what that was.
