Lunchtime visit with a few customers coming in. We were made to feel very welcome. It was my first visit and it feels like a continental bar. It has a plain glass front to the pavement and the bar area extends a far way back with the serving area on one side wall. Seating is a mixture of wooden tables and chairs and comfy sofas.
Brighton Bier - West Pier | 4.00 | | Not as hoppy and a little darker in colour to the Plateau. |
Burning Sky - Plateau (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | A superb pale ale, nice and hoppy. It would be nice to compare this with Hophead. |
Tonbridge - Coppernob | 3.80 | Not Tried | |
RedWillow - Heartless | 4.90 | Not Tried | A chocolate stout. My wife really enjoyed this. |
