Mid-day and the first pub on a tour with a mini-bus. Ron was on fine form and made us very welcome. The pub soon became quite busy with a good mix of clientele.

The pub was packed. We later found out that this was in part due to a nearby birthday party coming in. Great pub.

A well proportioned 2 room pub with a long garden at the rear. The smaller of the 2 rooms is taken up with a pool table whilst the other room is larger and L-Shaped. The floors are bare board and the furniture is eclectic. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2017, 2018, 2019 and again in 2022.
