16:30 Our party was spilt over three pubs and we re-met here. Heaving but we managed to get a seat. I didn't note all the beers. I had a very good porter but can't read my notes of the brewery name.

A couple of hours hard grind around the Courtauld Gallery had worked up a thirst, which was dealt with here. Always an interesting crowd in. The young couple on the next table were comparing notes on which of their respective families were the bigger Yorkshire landowners.
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | | People say Hophead is not what it was. This tasted pretty fine to me. |
Adnams - Broadside | 4.70 | Not Tried
Adnams - Southwold Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried

Very quaint pub with unusual clientele. Wedding party in the bar with 15 men. Couldn’t spot the bride. Menu contained elegant chicken at £10, cheese at £9 and posh ice cream at £6. Our third pub on our London pub crawl. 5 beers were on the bar.

Fullers purchased this pub from Enterprise last year so I was interested to see if anything had changed. I got the impression that it was not broken so they have not fixed it, absolutely nothing appears to have changed. This was a busy Thursday evening with the usual interesting mix of customers, and very efficient bar staff.
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | | This was in superb condition, I was tempted to give it five stars. Hophead as it should be. |

I just love the mix of people you get in here and some of the overheard conversations are bizarre as you are at the back of the Royal Courts of Justice. Regular home for Dark Star beers in London.
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | | I would like to think that I had something to do with this beer's popularity. Bit watery but very good citrus on this pint. Good, but not as good as Ye Olde Mitre, but there is some unbelievable hop on the finish. |
Dark Star - Over The Moon | 3.80 | Not Tried

Lovely pub at the back of the Royal Courts of Justice. Very steep stairs to the toilet. I sat at the bar and chatted with the barmaid about the pub cat.
Dark Star - Over The Moon | 3.80 | | Hoppy aroma for a dark beer, touch of butter on it maybe. But a classy beer. |
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | | Good if a little soapy. |

Mid afternoon and there were a fair few locals in. I rather liked it and will be back.
Adnams - Southwold Bitter | 3.70 | | Yeasty and to be honest exactly how I imagined it to be. |
