Late lunchtime. Almost empty. This pub seems a speculative venture for future residential and commercial developments.

My first visit here, plenty of staff on duty but very few customers. The barman was very enthusiastic and gave us lessons on which brand of tonic to match with different types of gin.

This new pub opened last Saturday evening and I diverted tonight’s CAMRA Pub Crawl here for a brief visit. Between us we tried all four cask beers – all were served too warm (although we got a bit of flannel about them being ‘real ales, which are supposed to be warm’). Just teething problems no doubt.

The pub is found in Stratford, Greater London, E20 1DB.
A new pub in Celebration Avenue, opened in November 2014 in a modern residential development in the area which started life as part of the Athletes' Village at the London Olympics. It is two minutes’ walk from Stratford International station. The bar consists of a large open-plan space with bar counter along one side and a kitchen at the rear. 4 handpumps.
We have visited this pub 13 times, seen 17 different beers and tried 7 of them.
