I had been looking forward to coming back here for ages. It was the one pub I had a strong rememberance of from my last visit to the city 6 years ago. Mid afternoon and there was a mixed crowd in, but not busy.

| Elgood's - Wheat | 4.50 | | Gold with thin beige head. Cereal aroma, good mouthfeel, some banana/bubblegum with good lemony finish. One of the better English wheat beers. Full and cereal. Good lemony finish. |

Most people were on the walkway overlooking the river so the pub was fairly quiet.
