Idle - Grunter | 4.40 | Slightly hazy, probably nearing end of barrel. Malty rather than hoppy with a rather thin finish. My score 14/20. | |

Enville - Old Porter | 4.50 | Not Tried |

Abbey Ales - Bath Star | 4.50 | Standard golden bitter, bit above average, drunk in two gulps as had a bus to catch. |
Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Hadrian and Border - Tall Ships | 3.90 | Tea flavoured, best bitter. Has a definite H&B flavour, which for me is a bit plasticky. Good roasty flavours which grow on you, but that initial plastic lowers the score. | |
Abbeydale - Epiphany | 4.60 | Pale gold with thin white head. Bit buttery, golden ale with some hop. Bit soapy too. Slightly acidic. Not my favourite. |

The pub is found in Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX1 2BY.
Down an alleyway, Friars Entry, off one of the main shopping streets, this is a modern bar style pub. Newish feel to it. Good beer line up and a good mix of guest beers. Oxford Drinker CAMRA magazine August / September 2015 reports the pub being converted into a Caribbean themed restaurant for Turtle Bay.
We have visited this pub 14 times, seen 42 different beers and tried 31 of them.
