A pleasant Sunday evening atmosphere.
Turning Point - Afterglow12.00ExceptionalKeg. A bourbon barrel aged, spicy, sweetish Imperial Stout. Has ginger, coconut and lactose amongst the additions. Wonderful stuff.
Hop Hooligans - Sancha5.00ExcellentKeg. Great after my recent visit to Romania to find this brewery's beer here in London. This is a very tasty, hazy, Pale Ale infused with Japanese green tea.
20 Jul 2019 (Stephen Harris)
Whoever bought the (tiny) chairs for this bar was obviously not in contact with whoever bought the (high) tables. Sit down and you inevitably feel like a bunch of dwarves and hobbits dining at Beorn's table.
Turning Point - Off the Grid6.20ExcellentFrom key-keg and very fresh. Murky gold and juicy.
Mondo - MVP5.40GoodFrom key-keg. Cloudy gold. The currently almost ubiquitous soft fruity murk. I'm again tiring of the style.
07 Jul 2019 (Stephen Harris)
Mid-evening on a Sunday and a light trade here tonight.
Three Hills - In Pursuit6.00ExcellentFrom keg. Another murky NEIPA.
Mondo - Stars & Strikes6.70ExcellentFrom keg. Blueberry, lactose and hops. In that order.
05 Jun 2019 (Stephen Harris)
Mothership - Brut Pale Ale4.50GoodFrom keg. Dry and effervescent.
01 May 2019 (Stephen Harris)
A pleasant evening visit.
Ridgeside - Equator5.60GoodFrom some kind of keggery. Sharp, hazy gold. A US-type IPA, with pineapple tastes from exotic hops.
Põhjala Öö - Ohtu5.50GoodKeg. A heavyweight, black, chocolatey Porter.
