Evening visit across midnight. All seated service so I sat as near the bar as I could and had to go to the bar everytime to make card payment as there are no portable card payment machines here.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Greene King - Abbot5.00ExcellentSeems very good to me with quite creamy texture but old English bitterness. Stuck to the one selection having seen the alternatives.

Only right to exercise the right for an evening visit for the last midnight close until eternity. Will be interesting how this and many other houses cope with only table service, mandated face coverings for staff and customers, the latter when not seated, and giving tasters, taking payment and giving top ups.

Brief bus change visit across midnight. People can get a bit too close here in being friendly.

Late evening visit. The barmaid tried to convince me she only had to serve 95% of a pint and then only added a begrudging one squirt pull as a top up. Training lacking here.

Just after midnight early morning visit. I have niot seen any micro-brewery ales yet in any 'Spoon's since the end of lockdown. Apart from Old Hooky a week or so ago seems all the corporate brewery beers are their mainstay, at least for now.

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 539 times, seen 821 different beers and tried 360 of them.
