23:00 visit. Still lively and a fair crowd still in. Entertainment value was a group of non-UK speakers buying "shots", lined up on the bar. Only £15 a round! Good banter. I stayed until 01:00.

19:45 visit. Met a mate in here and one pint led to another....Fair crowd in plus the darts team too.

Caledonian - Devil's Advocate 4.20 Very nice. One of Cally's better, dark types. Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter 3.70 Very comparable, indeed better, than some other local outlets.

18.45 visit: nice locals feel to this pub being my first visit I was made to feel very welcome. The beer garden is fantastic, you would not know your in the middle of town :) ale choice not that inspireing but never mind...
