A busy evening here with a visit from the London area mild drinkers..
| Rudgate - Ruby Mild | 4.40 | | A good sample here of this dark ruby/brown mild. Some bitterness evident but also some toffee malt and a dryish finish. My score 15/20. |

A wet Sunday evening, and there were not many people about. This was a very comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy a few pints before catching the train to Ebbsfleet. We would probably have stayed longer if it were not for the fact that the pub closes at 9pm on Sundays.

Fairly busy with folk drinking as well as dining in this opulently furnished pub which brings an upmarket feel to the area.

I could have happily stayed here longer, this place definitely puts Gravesend on the map for the beer drinker. It was reasonably busy, service was good, and there were a fair number of people eating.
