Loads of food, chocs, sweets etc for a birthday party. Used my 8 pint card to get a free pint. However my ESB tasted different.

Spoke to bar girl who after I queried whether this was ESB immediately said no, its the right beer. Such a quick reply was very reassuring... Beer was perfectly acceptable, good condition just not the beer we expected. After such a great spread we were not going to make a fuss. Will monitor carefully after we come back from Tenerife in a couple of weeks. I am sure some other punters would have enjoyed this beer. |

Great beer. One beer free for every 8 but tonight wasnt getting the correct discount. Till error i am told. Disappointing.

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 0BJ.
Formerly the Addington Arms, a busy pub on a small side road (Ashburnham Road) in the outskirts of Ramsgate centre. It was a beer shop as early as 1849, although the flint building is much older. The pub had the distinction of being the last beer house in Thanet, not being fully licensed until the 1960s.
We have visited this pub 47 times, seen 16 different beers and tried 12 of them.
