Early evening visit. Only customer for most of my hour's stay. Guv Micky is a real character and very happy to talk about Micropubs, brewing and life. I like the look and feel of this place which is easily located on the frequent Loop bus service. Shortly before I departed a lady came in with a small dog that barked just like a seagull's call.
NauticAles (brewed at Four Candles) - Bosun's Whistle | 4.20 | | Pleasant cool light brown bitter with orange citrus notes |
White Horse - Wayland Smithy | 4.40 | Not Tried
Bridestones - Smoked Porter | 4.60 | Not Tried

Opening time/lunch. My first visit, and stumbled upon this via the Loop bus, so made a swift stop. Nice micro, friendly, amenable guv'. Impressed. Not listing/scoring these days.
Temperance Union - Vfm Softy | 1.00

My first visit here, a welcome addition to the Thanet Loop pub crawl and a true micropub. I enjoyed this visit and stopped a little longer than originally intended. A new edition of the Thanet Loop Pub Guide should be out this summer.
Four Candles - NauticAle | 4.40 | | A good tasty copper/bronze beer brewed by Nauticales using the Four Candles plant. |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Seasider | 4.30 | Not Tried
Four Candles - Plum Porter | 4.70 | Not Tried
